Small Town of Tolar about 10 minutes away.
Above is old Drug Store
Tolar Laundry
The Police Station
The Old Rock Church it's sits on the other side of the Paluxy River and our property is 9/10 of mile from Paluxy River.
The Old Rock Church sits back of Rock Church Hwy
Top and bottom picture is the view you will see as your're pulling out from the property.
In picture view below - I'm standing on the other side of the stock tank looking at the entrance road of Rock Church Hwy into the property. If you're driving in between the tree the first thing you see is the stock tank and coming in you would turn left in between the big group of Elm trees and the stock tank and head towards the back of the property where I have the road cut.
This stock tank does have a clay bottom so when does fill up it will have blue sky tint instead of green tint because of the clay bottom. Just on the other side of where I'm standing would be the best place for garden. As you continue down the road heading towards back where it open up - that's where I would put a barn and riding arena where opens up and my home I would put next to trees where I had security light installed in the back of the property. If you really want great view towards the entrance up front of the property having a two-story home and having a view of Chalk Mountain looking towards Glen Rose. The pics and video will give you a visual but it does nothing for what you will see if you are actually standing on the property.
http://youtu.be/WQOzxxc_Ilk It's almost turn key ready to build on.
You can see my other video driving to the Property http://youtu.be/G7PCg5_joKo
Here is link to view in Google Maps, Google has it listed as 4921 but the correct address is 5001 Rock Church Hwy, Tolar, Texas 76476. If you view in Google Earth you can view the Dozier work that has been done.
5 acres of raw land
No restrictions
Deep well water, just installed well house
Electric, new transformer/security light/breaker box installed
1 acre stock tank just dug, we hit clay so we didn't go any deeper, now we just need some rain.
Has plenty trees, most of the cedar have been pushed over, salvaging some for cedar post.
Road has been cut, but will need road base and culvert. I was thinking about putting two inches of road base then coming back with crushed granite after I put in the rock landscaping surrounding the entrance. Having to hall in rock because there is none on the property to my surprise. The soil is awesome, partly sandy. We even found some small Pecan trees, near the stock tank, which is great sign. I will probably put in riding arena for horses in the bottom where it's open up.
